Classes are staffed by a qualified teacher and a teaching assistant, this enables us to have up to 26 children in a class. Due to numbers increasing each term sometimes we may increase the staffing and numbers are usually around 30 children with 3 staff. We welcome students from the Kendal College, the University of Cumbria and Queen Katherine Teaching School ‘School Direct’ trainees which enhances the learning potential within the classrooms.
Brantfield Nursery School follows Cumbria County Councils nursery admission policy, details of this can be found on the county website.
