Our 2–3 Year Old Room is a calm, welcoming, and engaging environment designed to support your child as they take exciting steps towards independence. At this age, children are rapidly developing their language, social skills, and physical confidence — and our room is carefully set up to nurture all aspects of their growth.
We understand that every child develops at their own pace, so we take the time to build strong, caring relationships with each child and their family, helping them feel safe, secure, and happy during their time with us.
🧑‍🏫 Teacher-Led Learning in the Early Years
Our room is led by a qualified Early Years Teacher, supported by an experienced team of practitioners who are passionate about helping every child succeed. We carefully plan age-appropriate activities that build on children’s natural curiosity and early skills.
Through structured teacher-led sessions, children enjoy:

🌳 Free-Flow Outdoor Play, Every Day
We believe that young children learn best when they are active and connected to the world around them. That’s why we offer free-flow access to outdoor play throughout the day. Our secure and stimulating outdoor space is a natural extension of the classroom, giving children the freedom to explore, move, and discover at their own pace.
Outdoors, children can:

We see outdoor play as essential for building confident, capable learners — and our team supports each child to take safe risks and develop resilience.
🤝 Building Relationships That Matter
We work closely with families to ensure each child receives the care and support they need. We spend time learning about your child’s routines, interests, and personality so we can tailor their learning journey and help them feel at home. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and information about your child’s progress, as well as invitations to join in with special events and stay-and-play sessions.
We are always here to chat or answer questions — whether you want to know how your child’s day went or need advice about toileting, sleep, or transitions.
⏰ Flexible Hours & 2 and 3 Year old Funded places
We offer flexible nursery places to suit the needs of your family, whether you’re eligible for funded hours or looking to book additional sessions.
If you’re eligible, your child could access 15 hours of free early education per week, starting from the term after their 2nd or 3rd birthday.
Some families of 3- and 4-year-olds may also be entitled to 30 funded hours, offering even greater flexibility.
Top-Up & Paid Sessions
Need more than your funded hours? No problem – we offer additional sessions at affordable rates:
🔹 2-year-olds: £6.50 per hour
🔹 3- and 4-year-olds: £5.50 per hour (from the term after their 3rd birthday)
You can choose the combination of days and hours that works best for your child and your schedule.
